As the Department of Gerontology at Akdeniz University, we are delighted to organize the 12th International Symposium of Social and Applied Gerontology, an important platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration in the field of ageing and old age.

This year, the theme of our symposium has been designated as “The 20th Anniversary of Gerontology in Türkiye.” Within the framework of this meaningful theme, nationally and internationally renowned academics, researchers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers will come together to share their knowledge and experiences; current research and practices in the field of ageing will be addressed from a multidimensional perspective.
